Derrynane House & Gardens
Home of Daniel O'Connell who was a heroic figure in Ireland's fight for independence. The house has been lovingly cared for and restored and is home to a museum and heritage centre. Historical & Archaeological Sites
There is a rich heritage of fascinating archaeological sites in the area - from the majestic prehistoric Staigue Fort to the proud Ogham stone at Derrynane. The area offers a wealth of sites such as forts, castles, prehistoric stone art and standing stones.
