The Ring of Kerry is a scenic drive around the Iveragh Peninsula in South West Kerry. The world famous route encompasses some of the most stunning scenery in the world. Where it tracks the coastline of the Iveragh Peninsula it forms part of the Wild Atlantic Way. The combination of ocean, islands, mountains with its many towns and colourful villages makes it an exciting journey of discovery. The 179km long circular route takes in rugged landscapes, beautiful stunning scenery and rural seaside villages. During the tourist season we have a lot of buses going around the Ring of Kerry mostly between morning and mid-afternoon. They all go in the one direction, i.e. Killorglin, Glenbeigh, Caherciveen, Waterville, Caherdaniel, Sneem, and Killarney. Motorhomes that come to us from West Cork, come in via Kenmare, then on to Sneem and then on to Caherdaniel. Some drivers prefer to drive early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid meeting the larger buses. There is room for everyone on our roads once we all drive with respect for each other!
